Doctor Who Figure Adventures is a stop motion-animated YouTube series, based on the long-running BBC One drama series Doctor Who. Its first series aired from September to December 2008, and the show returned with a second series in July 2009. The third and final series of DWFA began on April the third 2010 and is currently airing on YouTube, with the grande finale of the show on its way with Part One airing on the 23rd of April 2011.
DWFA has, from its first episode, been under control of head writer and executive producer Ryan Head, who created the series with co-executive producer Alex Williams. The show is currently being produced by Charles McGrath, Lowri Head and Daniel Selway, with music being supplied by Murray Gold, Ben Foster, San Watts and Dylan Gillah.
